Teaching Assistant

The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, Department of Mining Engineering.

• Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
• Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
• Applicants must have a degree classification of at least 2
• 1 and should have graduated no more than two (2) years at the time of applying
• Applicants should be 30 years old or below
• Successful applicants are expected to enroll for a relevant Master’s Degree within the first year of employment

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be
• Assist Lecturers in delivering tutorials
• Mark students' assignments and tests
• Support student research projects
• Participate in community outreach activities
• Contribute to the University's income-generating projects
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson
