We are seeking a highly organized, politically astute, and mature proactive individual to join the office of an Honorable MP for Harare metropolitan. This dual-focus role is critical in ensuring that the Member of Parliament is effectively supported in their legislative duties while remaining deeply connected and responsive to the needs of their constituents.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Political Acumen: A deep understanding of current national and local political landscapes.
Business Administration: Proven ability to manage administrative systems, office budgets, and schedules.
Exceptional Communication: Superior writing skills with the ability to translate complex policy into clear, accessible language for reports and public updates.
Problem Solving: The ability to handle sensitive constituent issues with confidentiality and sound judgment.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities between the capital and the district.
Responsibilities
1. Constituency Management & Programs
• Act as the first point of contact for constituents, handling complex casework with empathy and efficiency.
• Organize and manage constituency programs
• Maintain a visible and helpful presence within the local area to identify emerging community issues.
2. Parliamentary Research & Awareness
• Stay ahead of the legislative calendar, monitoring bills, debates, and committee meetings.
• Provide high-quality briefings on current parliamentary issues to ensure the Member is well-prepared for votes and debates.
• Liaise with parliamentary groups, stakeholders, and NGOs.
3. Business Administration & Reporting
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the constituency office, including budget tracking and resource allocation.
• Draft professional correspondence, newsletters, and official reports for both internal and public consumption.
• Ensure all office activities comply with parliamentary standards and data protection regulations.
