Job Description

1. Organisational Context

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Leadership: Lead day
• to
• day operational implementation of the Health for All (H4A) project across Masvingo Province and contribute to national protocols, guidelines, and reporting.
• Planning & Budgeting: Translate logframe and annual workplans into detailed site/district plans and phased budgets, in alignment with donor and procurement Requirements.
• Service Delivery Coordination: Supervise differentiated service delivery models across 175 facilities, coordinate outreach, health promotion, and ensure uninterrupted supply of essential medicines and equipment.
• Clinical Governance & Mentorship: Provide hands
• on clinical mentorship for diabetes, hypertension, and NCDs; lead case reviews, clinical audits, and quality improvement cycles.
• Data Management: Ensure timely, accurate data entry (facility registers, DHIS2, REDCap), convene dashboard reviews, and support implementation research and learning.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare high
• quality programmatic reports, maintain risk and incident registers, and support donor visibility in communications.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with Mo. HCC teams, partners, and represent H4A at provincial and technical fora.
• Midlands Capacity Building: Coordinate training and mentorship across 8 Midlands Province hospitals and align learning for national scale
• up.
• Team Operations: Recruit, onboard, and performance
• manage project staff, oversee logistics, and enforce organizational policies.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBCh. B/MD) with full registration (MDPCZ) to practice in Zimbabwe.
• Postgraduate training in Public Health or related field.
• Minimum 5 years post
• internship clinical Experience, with 3 years in NCD service delivery and public health.
• Proven Experience in WHO PEN/PENPlus, clinical mentoring, and training.
• Valid driver’s licence; willingness to travel across rural districts.
• Data management proficiency (DHIS2, REDCap, Excel), and Experience in implementation research, reporting, and team capacity building.
• Proficiency in Shona, Ndebele and English, strong presentation and report writing Skills.
Desirable Skills:
• Supply chain coordination, equipment maintenance, and pharmacovigilance Experience.
• Planning, budgeting, and partner coordination Experience.
• Scientific writing (abstracts, manuscripts).
