Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor: Crop Protection

The University seeks to engage a Lecturer in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production.

Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
A Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Crop Science or related fields
Applicants must be holders of at least a Master of Science in Crop Protection Degree or equivalent A Ph. D in Crop Protection will be an added advantage
At least one peer reviewed publication
At least one-year teaching experience at tertiary level

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor: Crop Protection, you will be
• Participate in University income-generating projects
• Participate in the invigilation of examinations
• Supervise post-graduate and undergraduate student research projects
• Participate in outreach activities in the crop production sector
• Attract and manage research grants
• Participate in university services
• Innovate and facilitate service delivery
• The applicant should be able to teach the following modules: Biology and Management of Plant Pathogens, Biology and Management of Plant Pests, Weed Biology and Management and any other modules which may be assigned by the Department
