Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the Human Resources Officer position that has arisen at The Cotton Company of Zimbabwe
• COTTCO.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinates the interviews and generates the offer of employment contract.
• Carries out induction of new employees.
• Reviews manpower budgets from all Business Unit and ensures compliance to set standards.
• Reviews HR policies twice a year to ensure that COTTCO attracts and retains talent.
• Ensures that all payroll input is submitted to salaries administrator for timeous payment of salaries.
• Liaises with organizational legal representative on labor matters.
• Coordinates disciplinary hearings and ensure compliance with the provisions of the labor Act.
• Represents the organization in conciliation and arbitration matters.
• Administers the employment code of conduct.
• Ensures that all employees are conversant with the Requirements of the code of conduct and grievance handling procedures.
• Advises line managers and other employees on labor matters.
• Coordinates the works council functions and follows up on pertinent issues.
• Liaises with external stakeholders such as NEC to ensure the organization is compliant with the Requirements and development in the CBA.
• Organizes and controls all industrial relations activities.
• Performs the pension administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or any related field.
• IPMZ Diploma is an added advantage.
• 2 years Experience in HR field.
