Job Description
Position Title: Finance Officer
Duty Station: Harare, Zimbabwe
Type of Appointment: 2 Year Contract
Estimated Start Date: 1 November 2025
: NVF2025/10

Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Record
• Keeping
Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports to support decisior

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
2. Payroll and Statutory Payments
Assist in the preparation of payroll and ensure timely disbursement of salaries and benefits
• Calculate and file statutory returs such as PAYE, VAT, NSSA, and ZIMRA.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory payrol Requirements
3. Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist in the preperation of annual budgets and financial pians.
• Monitor budget performance and ensure expenses stay within approved limits.
• Track expenditures and assist in financial forecasting cligned with strategic goals
• Identify cost
• saving opportunities and implement efficient financial proctices.
4. Compliance and Internal Controls
Adhere strictly to organzational financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
• Develop and enforce intemal controls to protect organizational assets.
• Undertoke corrective actions to address any non
• compliance

Assist in the preparation and support of looth intemal and externa audit processes
• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining proper documentation and records,
• Implement audit recommendations and strengthen financial systems.
6. Cash Flow and Treasury Management
Montor banking actvities and ensure adequate funds are avalable
Manoge cash flow and prepore cosh flow forecasts.
• Process payments and disbursements in line with approved procedures
• Reconcile bank and investment accounts regularly.
7. Procurement and inventory
Assist in planning and managing procurement processes
• Ensure procurement activities align with organizational policies.
• Manage inventory valuation and ensure accurate financial tracking of assets.
Requirements

BSc Honors Degree in Accounting/Finance.
