Data Analyst

Everyday Vacancies is seeking a Data Analyst to help us make data-driven decisions that improve our platform and services. You will analyze large datasets related to job postings, applications, and user behavior to uncover insights that drive product improvements and business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their data career to work with real-world data that directly impacts employment outcomes in Zimbabwe. You'll collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to answer critical questions and track key metrics.

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or related role
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and advanced functions
• Basic understanding of statistical concepts and methods
• Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the data field

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports for various stakeholders
• Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases
• Conduct A/B test analysis and provide recommendations
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Collaborate with product team to define and measure success metrics
• Identify data quality issues and work with engineering to resolve them
• Document analysis methodologies and findings
• Present insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences
• Support ad-hoc data requests from various teams
• Assist in building predictive models and automation
• Contribute to data governance and best practices
