Job Description

The University of Zimbabwe is inviting suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the following positions that have arisen in the institution.: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND DIGITALISATION

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Computer Science/Bachelor of Business Management Systems
• Design and Applications/ Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or any other related degree
• A relevant Maters degree
• Extensive exposure to ERP implementations
• Familiarity with Linux network administration
• Project Management certification such as PMP or Prince2 is required
• Solid exposure to networking infrastructure administration and software development
• Extensive hands on Skills in Java, C#, Python and a Scripting language
• Three to five years working Experience in a management IT position
• Maturity, integrity and decorum
• Good communication Skills
• Good report writing Skills
