Job Description
Applications are invited from highly competent and qualified individuals to fill the position of Regional Administration Officer for Mashonaland Region
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and control regional budget and area income and expenditure account within given deadlines and set limits.
• Verifying, Analyzing and certifying cash accounts and ensuring all support documents accompany the cash account when being submitted to finance department.
• Checking and verifying Travel and Subsistence claims for the area and ensure that Travel and Subsistence settlements are done within stipulated time frames.
• Administering both business and residential lease and rental contracts.
• Mopping up excess cash in Post Offices to within set limits and ensure Area banking’s are done on time.
• Preparing Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports
• Maintaining asset register for the area, i.e., keys, CIC equipment, movable assets and fixed assets.
• Coordinate training programmers for the Area in Liaison with the Human Resources Division.
• Supervising Area administration staff.
• Maintain staff files for the region
• Carry out regular spot checks to ensure strict adherence to procedures
• Maintain leave records and ensure leave liability is within set limits.
• Any other Responsibilities that can be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Requirements
Education and Experience
• Higher National Diploma in Business Studies, Accounting, Administration or equivalent.
• Professional Requirements in Administration, Accounting or related Requirements will be an added advantage.
• 3 years relevant Experience
