Geological Technician

We seek to recruit an experienced and qualified Geological Technician based at Freda Rebecca
Gold Mine Midlands office in Gweru.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensures health, safety, environment and quality standards are maintained.
• Monitors mining activities within Freda Rebecca Gold Mine claims.
• Designs and implementing systematic sampling programs to collect representative samples from sampling exercises.
• Supervises grade control processes to ensure that the mining activities comply with the cutting plan.
• Ensures that accurate underground and surface assay plans are produced for reconciliation purposes timely.
• Communicates geological information, interpret the data.
• Does underground and surface geological and geotechnical mapping.
• Provides detailed maps for planning purposes.
• Performs any other Responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

• Diploma in Mine Geology.
• Holder of a clean Class 2 or 4 Drivers Licence.
• At least 5 years of working Experience.
