External Sales Consultant

The role is responsible for driving sales growth by managing customer relationships, generating leads, and promoting the company’s products and services. The position involves planning and executing route plans and calling cycles, monitoring sales trends, and gathering market intelligence. The incumbent will work closely with internal sales, credit control, and marketing teams to coordinate sales efforts, support pricing decisions, and deliver effective sales presentations. The role also includes preparing weekly and monthly reports, conducting customer business reviews, and ensuring exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries on products, pricing, credit terms, and availability

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing customer service.

• Monitoring sales trends.
• Gathering information and monitoring competitor activity.
• Generating leeds, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions & negotiations.
• Preparing weekly & monthly reports.
• Conducting sales efforts with marketing programs.
• Understanding & promoting company programs.
• Conducting customer business reviews & giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
• Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
• Visiting clients to evaluate needs or promote products &services.
• Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices & availability.

• Degree in Marketing / Equivalent
• A valid driver’s license
• At least three years in the Cement Industry.
• Knowledge of Cement Applications.
