The Tokwe Mukosi Hydropower Plant is a critical national infrastructure project aimed at strengthening Zimbabwe’s renewable energy capacity and ensuring long
• term electricity supply stability. We are expanding our engineering team to support ongoing operations, maintenance, and optimisation of plant systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ Experience in hydropower, energy generation, or heavy industrial mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of turbines, rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, and power plant operations.
• Experience with mechanical diagnostics, maintenance planning, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Ability to work in a high
• pressure, safety
• critical environment.

• Overseeing installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within the hydropower plant.
• Conducting routine inspections on turbines, generators, pumps, valves, and auxiliary systems.
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and coordinating corrective actions to ensure plant uptime.
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Preparing technical reports, drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Supervising mechanical teams and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Supporting system upgrades, retrofits, and performance optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborating with electrical, civil, and control engineers in multidisciplinary project tasks.
