VACANCY NOTICE: OPERATIONS MANAGER
Zhouyue Investments (PVT) LTD, a leading manufacturer of iron wires, steel nails, and related metal products based in Harare, is inviting suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the position of Operations Manager.Position Details:
Position: Operations Manager
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
Reports to: Managing Director

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years’ Experience in a manufacturing or industrial operations environment (Experience in the steel or metal sector is an added advantage).
• Proven leadership, organizational, and decision
• making Skills.
• Strong understanding of production machinery, process optimization, and maintenance systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.Attributes

• Ability to manage and lead teams effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination, management, and improvement of company operations.Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing day
• to
• day manufacturing processes and ensuring efficient plant operations.
• Planning and implementing production schedules to meet targets and quality standards.
• Supervising technical staff and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinating procurement of raw materials, inventory control, and logistics management.
• Developing and monitoring operational budgets and cost control measures.
• Implementing systems for performance evaluation, quality control, and production efficiency.
• Liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure smooth production and delivery timelines.
• Training and mentoring junior staff to enhance operational Skills and productivity.
