Job Description

This is a learnership programme that will cover areas such as handling loan business generation, processing applications, monitoring, debt recovery, portfolio management, branch administration, and clerical and accounts Responsibilities, representing SMEDCO to ensure the implementation of lending facilities to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for several key tasks, including:
• Producing brief analysis reports and appraisals on projects to evaluate viability for funding approval to ensure informed decision
• making.
• Conducting credit checks on the client’s financial history.
• Conducting periodic visits to clients who have running projects to assess how projects are operating and to create solutions to address challenges being encountered.
• Conducting market analysis for the reduction of risk and mitigating those risks for the benefit of the organization
• Producing reports highlighting how SMEs are benefiting from funds availed to them by SMEDCO
• Assisting in general branch administration and accounts clerical Responsibilities.
• Any other Responsibilities as may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of industrial attachment Experience
• Basic accounting and office administration Skills.
• Strong multitasking and decision
• making abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication Skills.
• Degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, or Entrepreneurship
