Job Description

Musasa is a women’s rights organization founded in 1988. The vision of the organization is to see a society in which women and girls are free from violence in all its manifestations and are able to fully participate in development at all levels.
Musasa is partnering with World Food Programme (WFP) Zimbabwe to implement a project aimed at enhancing accountability to affected populations and protection of WFP programme participants, particularly marginalized groups. The project's primary goal is to strengthen accountability and protection mechanisms, ensuring that WFP programme participants are informed, engaged, and protected, and that their feedback and concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct community engagement activities in the district
• Participating in outreach and demand creation activities that raise awareness on available WFP feedback mechanism channels
• Attending district meetings as well as coordinating with other project implementing partners in the district.
• Support report writing and documentation
• Attending to other matters that may arise during the period of implementation

Requirements

• A degree in social science or equivalency.
• An additional Requirements in any social science Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
• At least 2
• year Experience in a similar role
• Valid clean class 4 license with three years of Experience
• Ability to use Microsoft Office. Suite
• Ability to quickly understand and absorb new topics, issues and disciplines.
• Ability to coordinate well with partners in the district.
• The candidates should be mature and comfortable with all local languages.
