The Hotel Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversee daily hotel operations. The role
involves driving commercial growth, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth, profitable business operations all while upholding high standards of guest service.
Requirements
Requirements & Experience
• A degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven success in business development, marketing, and revenue growth.Skills & Skills
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and legal standards.
• Sound financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L analysis.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal Skills.
• Proficient in MS Office with attention to detail and problem
• solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Marketing
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy.
• Drive new client acquisition through corporate engagement and partnerships.
• Increase market share and revenue across all streams: rooms, food & beverage, and conferences.
• Enhance the hotel’s brand through digital marketing and community involvement.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine marketing efforts.
• Prepare and achieve the annual Marketing & Sales Plan.Financial & Commercial Management
• Develop and manage the hotel’s annual operating and capital budgets.
• Ensure profitability by monitoring revenue, expenses, and guest satisfaction.
• Analyse financial reports (e.g. P&L, daily business reports) to drive strategic decisions.
• Maximize revenue through yield management and sales initiatives.
• Implement cost
• saving measures where appropriate.Operational Excellence & Guest Experience
• Oversee all hotel operations in line with policies, SOPs, and service standards.
• Address guest complaints and implement service recovery procedures.
• Lead on key property issues such as customer service and capital projects.
• Ensure health, safety, and legal compliance across all facilities.Team Leadership & People Management
• Provide leadership and direction to department heads and staff.
• Monitor team performance and support professional development.
• Foster a positive, productive, and service
• oriented work culture.
Compliance & Administration
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory Requirements, including occupational
Health & Safety Act and fire safety.
• Manage internal and external audits to promote continual improvement.
