Health And Safety Officer

• Minimum 5 years of Experience in health and safety management, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
• Certification in Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA Safety Certificate, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), First Aid and CPR Certification, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification or other relevant certifications preferred.

• Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures across the Group and subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry
• specific health and safety regulations through regular policy reviews and updates.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections, recommending and monitoring corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and implement preventative measures.
• Design and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans, including evacuation and crisis management strategies.
• Deliver and coordinate health and safety training, awareness programs, and safety campaigns for employees and contractors.
• Collaborate with HR, Facilities, and other departments to integrate health and safety practices into daily operations.
• Act as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities, consultants, and contractors on health and safety matters.
