VACANCY NOTICE
HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above vacancy that has arisen within First Mutual Holdings Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
The Job
Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Advising staff on updates about labor legislation and labor relations matters, including the practical application and periodic review of the employment code of conduct.
• Initiating disciplinary process for all misconducts.
• Assisting employees with performance commitment development and performance reviews to ensure full compliance with the performance management policy.
• Assisting line management and staff with regards to performance counselling and managing substandard performance.
• Ensuring all positions have job descriptions in place and that all jobs are properly graded as and when required.
• Recruiting and selecting of suitable candidates to fill in vacancies.
• Capturing new employee's personal information and job details into the HR Information System.
• Maintaining employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits, by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends.
• Processing of loans such as study loans, housing loans, motor vehicle loans and personal loans.
• Payroll processing and checking payroll reconciliations on a monthly basis to ensure that there are no financial leakages.
• Conducting periodic payroll systems and processes audit to ensure compliance with statutory Requirements.
• Providing salary statistical records for use by heads of departments for budgetary control.
• Preparing requisitions for statutory payments and submit for approval.
Requirements
The Person
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
• Degree in Human Resources Management / Psychology.
• IPMZ Requirements is an added advantage.
• 3 years' Experience in a similar or related environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Possess qualities of high integrity.
