Job Title: Procurement Clerk (Grade 4)
Employer: Gokwe Town Council
Location: Gokwe, Zimbabwe
Deadline: 17 October 2025Reporting To
Procurement Officer
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Purchasing & Supply, or equivalent from a reputable institution
• Minimum 1 year relevant Experience
• Practical knowledge of the EDPS system is an added advantage
• Class Four (4) driver’s licence is an added advantage
• Age not more than 35 years
Responsibilities
• Assist in preparation of the procurement plan and returns
• Maintain procurement records/files of all procurement activities
• Prepare, manage, and process purchase orders
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues and confirm delivery dates
• Create and maintain purchasing files
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
• Liaise with stores to ensure timely deliveries
• Source quotations for goods or services
• Any other Responsibilities reasonably assigned by the Procurement Officer
