Electrical Engineer

A leading company in construction, real estate, retail, and manufacturing is hiring for the following position:
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Headquarters: Harare
Project Location: Gweru, Gokwe, Kwekwe, Mutare, Chinhoyi

Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Designing, developing and overseeing electrical systems for commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects using technical drawings using CAD software
• Conducting electrical load calculations and ensuring compliance with local and international standards
• Managing installation and testing of electrical systems
• Troubleshooting electrical issues
• Collaborating with civil, mechanical and project management professionals for system integration
• Performing site inspections and supporting safety planning
• Staying updated with industry trends and recommending improvements
• Supporting budgeting for projects

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional Experience in electrical design, maintenance, or construction
• Proficiency in Auto. CAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design software
• Solid understanding of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC)
• Strong project management and communication Skills
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward certification is a plus
