Housekeeping Interns

Therefore, a position of housekeeping intern has arisen within our institution as we aim to always provide a clean, safe and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:
 Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
 Assist with the collection, sorting, and distribution of linen. Help with washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry as needed.
 Assist in preparing patient rooms including making beds, restocking amenities, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take stock of housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
 Respond to patient requests for additional amenities and other housekeeping
• related services promptly and courteously.
Adhere to safety and security procedures, including handling cleaning chemicals properly, following protocols for lost and found items, and reporting any maintenance or security concerns.
 Any other Responsibilities that may be prescribed by the supervisor

 Detail oriented
 Must possess effective time management Skills
 Excellent communication Skills.
 Basic Problem
• solving Skills.

 Must be studying towards a diploma in Tourism and hospitality management or Equivalent
