Job Description

The Digital Skills Facilitator will be responsible for equipping young people, innovators, and entrepreneurs with essential digital Skills that drive employability, innovation, and enterprise development. Working within the Ruwa Innovation Hub, the Facilitator will design and deliver engaging training sessions, provide mentorship and support participants to leverage technology for learning, problem
• solving and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Training and Capacity Building
• Design and deliver digital literacy and ICT Skills training (basic to advanced).
• Facilitate workshops on productivity tools, internet safety, coding, and emerging technologies (AI, Io. T, cloud, etc.).
• Guide participants in applying digital Skills to entrepreneurship, climate
• smart solutions, and employability pathways.
Innovation and Enterprise Support
• Support startups and youth
• led enterprises to integrate digital tools for growth.
• Provide mentorship in digital content creation, e
• commerce, and social media for business.
• Assist innovators in prototyping and testing digital solutions within the hub.
Hub Program Implementation
• Co
• develop the digital curriculum aligned with the hub’s strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with private sector, academia, and community partners to enrich programming.
• Track training outcomes, maintain attendance and progress records, and contribute to MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning) reporting.
Youth Empowerment and Inclusion
• Promote gender equality, inclusivity and accessibility in digital learning.
• Encourage peer
• to
• peer learning and leadership among hub participants.
• Build confidence of marginalized youth to participate in the digital economy.

Requirements

• Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, Innovation, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years’ Experience in digital Skills training, facilitation, or ICT Education.
• Strong knowledge of digital tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, etc.) and emerging technologies.
• Experience in entrepreneurship development or innovation ecosystems is an added advantage.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and mentoring Skills.
