Job Description

The National Biotechnology Authority is seeking a detail
• oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to join our Head Office team. The successful incumbent will support the Procurement department in sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies and services essential for our operations. This role requires excellent organizational Skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost
• effective procurement. Competent candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
Procure goods and services by:
• Conducting market research
• Preparing and sending requests for quotations to potential suppliers
• Maintaining and updating supplier database
• Submitting procurement requisitions for payment processing
• Preparing and submitting purchase orders for approval
• Tracking and expediting orders
• Receiving and inspecting goods upon delivery
• Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities.

Requirements

• A Higher Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent Requirements.
• Knowledgeable in all procurement regulations and Acts.
• One year working Experience in a busy office environment.
• Strong organizational Skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power. Point).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• oriented environment.
