Class 2 Tipper Truck Driver

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has an
exciting, and challenging career opportunity within its North & Middle Dyke Mining
Division (Mutorashanga).
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals
to fill the vacant post of Class 2 Tipper Truck Driver on a Fixed
• Term employment
contract basis, renewable subject to performance.

Key Responsibilities:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Daily checks of assigned Tipper Trucks, tractor or vehicles as per vehicle check sheet.
 Driving Tipper Trucks, tractor and other company vehicles/equipment, as and when
requested.
 Reporting any defects of Tipper trucks/ tractor/company vehicles and equipment to the
supervisor for repairs to be carried out.
 Any other Responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

MINIMUM Requirements & Experience
 Three (3) “O” Levels passes including English.
 Non endorsed or Clean Class 2 Driver’s Licence.
 Valid Defensive Driving Certificate.
 At least 1 years’ Experience of operating a tractor is a must.
 At least 5 years’ Experience in driving Tipper Trucks or related Equipment.
 Possession of Class 1 Driver’s License or any Earth Moving Equipment (EME) operator’s
certificate will be an added advantage
