Job Description

Chengetedzai Depository Company (CDC) a leading Central Securities Depository (CSD) for the Zimbabwe Capital Markets, established in accordance with section 69 of the Securities and Exchange Act (Chapter 24:25) is looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate and lead in strategy formulation and implementation linked to business development, marketing and sales.
2. Solicit business sales from new and existing customers.
3. Spearhead new investor account opening initiatives.
4. Manage and maintain the digital presence of CDC to improve the visibility and recognizability of the business and brand across all electronic platforms.
5. Contribute to the enhancement of the ease of people to find, interact with, and perceive the CDC brand online.
6. Arrange and manage CDC conferences, webinars and training both online and physically.
7. Generate leads through various marketing and direct selling techniques.
8. Comprehend and contribute meaningful marketing ideas to the management team.
9. Lead in developing sales and revenue forecasting and budgeting.
10. Lead in developing and delivering presentations in a professional and effective manner to prospective and current customers.
11. Lead in new business generation and diversification.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 3 years’ proven sales Experience in the Financial Services sector, supported by a Masters or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Requirements.
2. Good understanding of Financial Markets and the Financial Services sector
3. Marketing and Financial Services sector related professional Requirements an added advantage
4. Strong track record in lead generation and conversion.
5. Results

6. Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion Skills.
7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
