POST B: MOLECULAR MICROBIOLOGY (1 POST)

Applicants must be holders of at least an upper second class BSc (Honours) degree in Biotechnology or Biological Sciences or Applied Biology with an MSc/MPhil in Biotechnology or Applied Microbiology that includes strong training in molecular biology, bioinformatics and microbiology. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to conduct both independent and collaborative research in fields such as antibiotic resistance, medical microbiology, bioinformatics and related areas. Possession of a Ph. D or publications in any of these fields will be considered a strong advantage.

The successful candidate will be expected to initiate and advance innovative research, contribute meaningfully to departmental projects, publish in reputable journals, and actively collaborate with internal and external partners.
