This role is responsible for liaising with the bereaved family regarding funeral arrangements, preparation of body, coordinating and managing funeral proceedings.

• Providing 24
• hour body removal service from place of death to mortuary or burial place.
• Preparing bodies for burial including washing, dressing and embalming.
• Assisting by arranging funerals and burials.
• Assisting with processing documents for burials and repatriation.
• Liaising with the bereaved family regarding time, and other Requirements.
• Setting up burial equipment at the cemetery.
• Taking water bowsers and other equipment to the venue of mourning, church service or burial.
• Attending to bereaved clients with dignity and compassion.
• Decorating funeral venue.
• Reporting accidents and faults within 12 hours of occurrence or noticing.
• Transporting staff and bodies to the burial place, and other driving Responsibilities.
• Transporting mourners to burial place and back.
• Complying with Road Traffic Act, speed limits, company procedures and other road usage rules.
Bailee role.
