FILTER PRESS OPERATOR

Filter Press Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, controlling, reporting, and maintenance of the Press Filter Station and associated equipment to ensure all the raw cane juice received from the milling section is filtered and conveyed to the evaporation section.

• Minimum of a diploma in process operations or equivalent.
• Knowledge of raw cane juice processing or ethanol production processes.
• Knowledge and appreciation of filtration station operations with at least two years of Experience.

• To ensure the safe, efficient and optimum operation of the press filter station.
• Monitoring instruments to make sure the press filter is working properly.
• Controlling operations of the filtration equipment in coordination with the milling and evaporator section.
• Conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality and performance.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Determining causes of operating errors and deciding corrective action.
