HOSTEL ATTENDANTS X3
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Hostel Attendant in our
Institute.
Reporting to the Team leader, the successful candidates among other Responsibilities will be responsible for the following:

Requirements, Skills and Experience
 5 “O” Levels.
 Certificate in housekeeping operations or equivalent
 At least 2 years’ Experience in the hospitality industry.
 A strong attention to detail with a passion for housekeeping

Responsibilities and Responsibilities
 Making beds
 Cleaning bedrooms, toilets and bathrooms, doors and floors to required standard.
 Cleaning corridors and stairs
 Changing linen and replenishing bathroom amenities and tea making facilities.
 Cleaning linen store rooms and kitchenettes
 Taking constant care of equipment, linen and materials
 Checking that only registered guests are in residence according to the checklist form.
 Submitting blankets to laundry as and when necessary.
 Checking and recording all faults in the maintenance faults logbook.
 Assisting guests on check in and check out.
 Carrying out monthly stock take of linen and toiletries
 Attending to arrivals and departures including carrying guests’ luggage to and from cars
