Electrician

Applications are invited for the Electrician position that has arisen within Baker’s INN
Manufacturing – Southern, Bulawayo.

The ideal candidate should be in possession of the following minimumRequirements
• Apprenticeship trained.
• Class 1 Journeyman Card.
• At least 2 years’ Experience in a food industry.
• National Certificate in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control Engineering or
Diploma.
• Computer literacy.
• Membership to a professional body (added advantage).
• Conversant with Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs and drives.
• A clean Class 4 driver’s licence (added advantage).

The Candidate will be required to take full charge of all Key Responsibilities that
include but are not limited to the following:
• Conducting scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Interpreting electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Working shifts and completing checklists.
• Performing electrical installations in the factory and depots.
• Completing job cards and logging jobs in CMMS.
• Ensuring housekeeping and involvement in continuous improvement
programs.
• Maintaining plant machinery in compliance with NSSA safety
Requirements.
• Assisting mechanical colleagues when necessary.
