1. Introduction and Experience

impact.
To ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with all statutory and donor Requirements, Impact
Hub Harare is seeking a qualified and experienced external audit firm to provide comprehensive audit
services for our financial statements for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2023, and December 31,
2024. The selected firm will be engaged for a two
• year period, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
2. Scope of Work
The selected audit firm will be responsible for conducting an independent audit of the financial statements of Impact Hub Harare. The audit must be performed in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and any other applicable local and international regulations relevant to non
profit organizations in Zimbabwe.
The audit will include, but is not limited to, the following:
• Expressing an opinion on the fairness of the financial statements, including the Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Funds, and Statement of Cash Flows.
• Assessing Impact Hub Harare's compliance with its internal policies, donor agreements, and all
relevant Zimbabwean laws and regulations, including the Private Voluntary Organizations Act (if applicable) and the Companies and Other Business Entities Act.

• Reviewing the effectiveness of the internal control systems and providing a Management Letter
that highlights any weaknesses and offers recommendations for improvement.
• Providing a report on compliance with the terms and conditions of specific donor grants, as required.

Requirements and Experience of the Audit Firm Proposals will be considered from reputable and qualified audit firms that meet the following criteria:
• The firm must be registered and in good standing with the Public Accountants and Auditors
Board (PAAB) of Zimbabwe.
• The firm must have a minimum of five (5) years of Experience in conducting audits, with a
demonstrated history of working with non
• profit organizations or social enterprises, particularly
those with diverse funding sources (e.g., grants, donations, earned income).
• The firm must be free of any conflicts of interest in providing services to Impact Hub Harare.
• The proposed audit team, including the lead partner, manager, and key staff, must possess the
necessary Requirements, expertise, and professional Experience to perform the audit effectively.
• A demonstrable understanding of the unique financial reporting Requirements for non
• profits in
Zimbabwe.

3. Required Deliverables
The successful firm will be required to provide the following deliverables:
• A formal Independent Auditor’s Report on the financial statements for each of the two years
(2023 and 2024).
• A comprehensive Management Letter for each year, detailing audit findings, control weaknesses,
and practical recommendations.
• Signed copies of the audited financial statements for presentation to the Board of Directors and
key stakeholders.
• Any additional reports required by specific donors or statutory bodies.
