Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Possess a Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent post graduate degree.
• Certification in project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), PMO Certifications
• CB
• PMO or PMO
• CP or P3 Governance
• Minimum 10
• 15 years of Experience in strategic transformation, management consulting, or program management, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Previous Experience as a PMO Manager or PMO Leader.
• Proven track record of leading large
• scale transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Analytical and Problem
• Solving Skills.
Responsibilities
• Spearhead new PMO initiatives, leading ideation through external benchmarking and exploratory thinking into practical plans and actionable deliverables.
• Oversee the management of the project, programmes and portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on business value and resource capacity.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure transformation goals are clearly defined, communicated, and achieved.
• Develop the PMO Charter and all required PMO artefacts.
• Oversee the PMO Centre of Excellence execution and enforcement of processes and drive ideation and innovation in project execution
• Accountable for the establishment and enforcement of robust project governance frameworks, methodologies, and standards.
• Develop and oversee the transformation program’s budget.
• Monitor and control expenditure across transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
• Work closely with CFOs and Financial Controllers to provide regular financial reports to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and compliance with organizational financial policies and regulations.
• Track and report on portfolio performance, providing regular updates to executive leadership.
• Ensure effective recruitment, coaching, training and deployment of internal project management resources and effective management of external consultants for the Group.
• Work closely with other teams to gather Requirements, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with transformation initiatives.
• Working closely with IT and operational teams to jointly create and develop solutions which enhance the customer proposition.
• Ensure high performance project culture across the function and succession plan.
• Undertake any other Responsibilities, tasks, assignments and projects as may be delegated/assigned by Management from time to time.
