Position Summary
We are seeking a mature, experienced, and highly dependable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of staff, guests, and materials. This role requires a high level of professionalism, a strong sense of responsibility, and an impeccable safety record.

• Age: 40 years or older.
• Experience: professional driving Experience, preferably within an NGO or corporate environment.
• License: A valid and clean Class 4 (or Class 2) Zimbabwean Driver’s License.
• Certification: A valid Defensive Driving Certificate is a must.
• Experience: Experience as a retired officer from the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA), or other security services is a strong added advantage.
• Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Harare's road network and routes. Familiarity with routes outside of Harare is a plus.

• Sober habits.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.

• Safely operate the organization's vehicles for official business.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition at all times.
• Perform daily vehicle checks (e.g., oil, water, tires, brakes) and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logs, recording trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Assist with logistical tasks such as loading/unloading materials and running official errands.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and organizational safety procedures.
