Assistant Claims Inspector

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production sector, has
some exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining
Division.

At least 5 Ordinary level passes including Mathematics and English
 Diploma in Survey/Geology or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution is an added advantage.
 At least 1 year working Experience in a mining environment.
 Working knowledge of safety management systems, with exposure to the NOSA SHE System being an added advantage.
 Must be able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
 Clean Class 4 driver’s licence a must

Assist the Claims Inspector to inspect Zimasco claim blocks on a regular basis.
 Assisting the maintenance and building of claims beacons as per statutory Requirements.
 Assist in boundary verifications for Zimasco mining operations
 Assist Claims Inspector to monitor and detect any illegal mining and construction activities within Zimasco claim blocks.
