Concrete Mixer Truck Driver & Operator

The Concrete Mixer Truck Driver and Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the concrete mixer truck to deliver ready
• mix concrete to various construction sites. The role involves driving, operating the mixing equipment, ensuring proper handling of concrete, and maintaining the vehicle in compliance with company and safety standards

• Valid heavy
• duty driver’s license class 2 with a retest, medical defensive (appropriate for mixer truck operation).
• 5 years’ Experience as a truck driver; Experience with mixer trucks is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety regulations and construction site protocols.
• Ability to operate mixer controls and understand concrete delivery procedures.
• Good communication Skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the role.

• Safely operate and drive the concrete mixer truck to transport ready
• mix concrete to designated sites.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Operate the mixer controls to load, mix, and discharge concrete according to specifications.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of concrete while maintaining product quality.
• Follow delivery schedules and instructions provided by the dispatch team.
• Maintain records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the mixer truck.
• Adhere to all road traffic regulations and site safety Requirements.
• Report any mechanical issues, incidents, or delays promptly to supervisors.
• Assist at the batching plant or site when required, ensuring safe operations.
