Old Mutual is hiring a Graduate (Broker Academy)

Experience, knowledge & Skills required:
• Grade 12
• Unemployed Graduates / Interns
• Must be in possession of an accredited Matric Certificate with a minimum 50% score on Math’s/ Math’s Literacy and English
• Must be in possession of a post Matric, Tertiary Requirements, FSCA recognized 3
• year Requirements (Bachelor of Commerce: Financial Accounting, Business Accounting, Business Informatics Interprise Risk Management Insurance & Risk Management or Bachelor of Accountancy or Bachelor of Business Administration)
• Minimum Requirements is NQF Level 6
• Own Transport and a valid Driver’s license Preferred
• Must be based in KZN
• Internship Programme Requirements
• Proactive problem solver or resilient under pressure.
• Must be entrepreneurship/business driven
• Ability to work independently (self starter)
• Face to Face engagement

Responsibilities:
This internal Black Broker Internship programme will expose the graduates/interns to the full suite of Broker activities within Old Mutual Insure, as per the below:
• Lead Generation
• Cold calling
• Canvassing
• (door to door)
• Sourcing of Partnerships and Collaborations
• Networking and managing external events
