Job Description
ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT:
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Zimbabwe works in partnership with the Government of Zimbabwe, humanitarian and development actors, the private sector, and local communities to address immediate food needs while supporting long
• term solutions to hunger and malnutrition.
Requirements
Education: Advanced University degree in business/public administration, finance, accounting, international development, audit or other relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of relevant work Experience and/or training/courses in audit, performance and risk management or other related fields.
Responsibilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all
• inclusive, within delegated authority):
• Provide support to embedding risk management in planning and decision
• making across the office and regular updating of risk registers, including progress towards implementing the risk mitigation actions.
• Support the collection of feedback and data on risk performance and contribute potential new implementation approaches.
• Support spot checks of cooperating partners in
• line with the Standard Operating Procedures for the management of cooperating partners and field level agreements in coordination with other relevant units and field offices.
• Assist relevant managers in their regular and ad hoc risk assessments in the CO to identify and evaluate risks and assess compliance with WFP standards.
