Optometrist

The University of Zimbabwe is inviting suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the following positions that have arisen at the University of Zimbabwe Quinary Hospital which includes the University of Zimbabwe Specialist Medical Centre.
3. Optometrist

Requirements:
• Must hold a Bachelor of Optometry degree or a recognized equivalent
• Must be registered with the Pharmacists’ Council of Zimbabwe
• Minimum of three years’ Experience practicing as an Optometrist

The successful candidate must be able to:
• Performing comprehensive eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses and screen for various ophthalmic conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts.
