The University of Zimbabwe is inviting suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the following positions that have arisen at the University of Zimbabwe Quinary Hospital which includes the University of Zimbabwe Specialist Medical Centre.
6. NURSING SISTER, OPHTHALMOLOGY UNIT

Requirements:
• Must hold a Bachelor of Nursing Sciences degree or a Diploma in Nursing
• Must be registered with the Nurses’ Council of Zimbabwe
• Minimum of three years’ Experience working as a nurse in an Ophthalmology Unit

The successful candidate must be able to:
• Provide high
• quality patient care, staff supervision and ensure efficient operations.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Play a key role in staff training, Education and professional development, while also contributing to quality improvement initiatives and maintaining a safe and effective clinical environment.
