BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN, OPHTHALMOLOGY UNIT

The University of Zimbabwe is inviting suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the following positions that have arisen at the University of Zimbabwe Quinary Hospital which includes the University of Zimbabwe Specialist Medical Centre.
8. BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN, OPHTHALMOLOGY UNIT

Requirements:
• Must hold a Higher National Diploma in Electronics Instrumentation and Control or a Higher National Diploma in Telecommunications
• Possession of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering is an added advantage
• Minimum of two years’ Experience working as a Technician

The successful candidate must be able to:
• Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment, such as autorefractors, phoropters, tomographs, or retinoscopes and every other equipment that contributes to good ophthalmic care.
